Level C Skills Assessment
In order to do well in this level of the program your child should have completed the Level B Program OR have all of the following skills in order to do well in this level of the program:
- Can stay on task for 45 minutes or longer.
- Can read and write the entire Arabic words, phrases or longer ayaat.
- Can read and write Arabic numbers 1-100.
- Can give the meanings of at least 30 Arabic words from the Qur’aan.
- Has memorized Juz ‘Ama (30th Part of the Qur’aan) and can recite clearly without assistance.
- Knows the basic meaning or Tafseer of all the suwaar memorized so far.
- Has memorized at least 20 daily ad’iyaa (i.e. riding in the car, entering the masjid, after wudu’, etc.) and can recite them clearly without assistance.
- Knows the meanings of all ad’iyaa memorized (this is preferred but not required).
How to evaluate your child’s performance:
- If your child cannot complete all the items on this assessment, we recommend you purchase the Level B Program first.
- If your child can complete all items on the assessment, then he is ready to enter Level C of the Program.
- If your child can do more than this assessment covers (for example writing Arabic letters or memorizing more than 10 surahs) move on to Level D (Note: Level D is currently under revision, please join our mailing list to be notified when the course is made available again insha-Allah).
