Classical Islamic Studies and Arabic Curriculum

The Ad-Duha program is comprehensive spanning multiple levels from elementary to advanced. Each level is designed to be completed in 10 months (a little more than one academic year). However, you can complete it at any rate that is comfortable for you and your child. Subjects taught include...

Ad-Duha does not teach a specific Muth-hab (school of thought, i.e. Shaf’i, Maliki, Hanafi, Hanbali), rather we present information on all four major schools of thought. Arabic Language to Understand the Qur’an

One of the main goals of our program is that upon completing this curriculum, students will be able to read and understand the Qur’an and Hadeeth in Arabic and have memorized the entire Qur’an. Our focus is Arabic as a language to better understand the Qur’an and Sunnah. Therefore, we focus on Qur’anic vocabulary and use the Qur’an and Hadith as the main focus of lesson plans. Students will not be taught conversational Arabic or Modern Standard Arabic in these courses.

Arabic Course Materials Designed for Non-Arabic Speakers

We offer something no other school does; an Arabic program that can be taught by individuals who do not speak Arabic. In fact when parents are supervising the program for their children they will be learning too! Each Arabic course is accompanied by software and/or audio tapes that will teach students (and parents) correct pronunciation. Additionally, all workbooks are specifically designed to be used by non-Arabic speakers. The workbooks feature transliterations of Arabic sounds/words, explanations of grammar rules, handwriting practice and step-by-step instructions on how to complete each lesson objective. Whether it is the alphabet or vocabulary lessons, we give you the tools to teach while you learn.

The Ad-Duha curriculum has been primarily designed for home schoolers who may not have access to quality instruction in the Islamic Sciences where they live. Multiple Levels to Choose From

Because every child may not have the necessary Arabic or Islamic Studies background, Ad-Duha has developed a series of Islamic Study Levels that correspond to the PreK-12th Grade levels. We offer placement advice for each level to make sure that you choose the curriculum that best meets your child’s needs. This means that students will not be expected to complete work that they are not prepared to deal with. We think this is important because it ensures that students continue to make progress and that their learning needs are met, regardless of how or when they enter the Ad-Duha program. Each level is designed to be completed within 10 months (or a little more than one academic year).

Global Home School Family

Ad-Duha Institute provides Muslim families with comprehensive Islamic Studies and Arabic curriculum materials, Al-hamdullillah. Here are some quick facts to help you get acquainted with Ad-Duha....

How It Works

Ad-Duha provides curriculum to students all over the world on five continents, in over thirty-four states, provinces, and countries. How do we do this? It all happens in four easy steps...

  1. Decide what products you would like to order. Visit our Islamic Course pages (use the drop down menu above or the level buttons at the bottom of this page) to learn more about each level of the program.  Each course level page features: product photos,  detailed physical description (i.e. book size, page count, etc.), sample PDF book previews, up to 14 pages long, for each product (just click on the image of the book to open the preview), and (for complete courses only) a printable book list to make ordering course options easier.
     
  2. Purchase your product choices from the bookstore. All or our products are offered for individual sale in our online bookstore (we no longer offer complete packages sold as a set), rather you print out the book list for the course option you would like and purchase the items on the list from the bookstore, this gives you the flexibility to add or omit items in the course based on your individual needs).

    Whether you want just one book, a book series, a complete curriculum, or wholesale quantities, the bookstore is the place to start your order. In the bookstore we offer both printed and download options for most of our products. When placing your order you will have two shopping carts, one for your printed books (which will be processed through Createspace, our distributor), and the other cart for your download purchases, that will be processed through Paypal. Please keep in mind that Ad-Duha offers all of its products at wholesale prices, therefore we no longer give discounts for bulk orders or Islamic schools.
     
  3. Complete your payment online. In order to complete your order you will need to follow the steps for checking out through Createspace (printed books) and/or Paypal (downloads). You do not need to have an account with either of these companies in order to checkout, however you will be given the option to open an account during the process if you wish to do so.   4. Your printed order will be shipped directly to you via USPS. Createspace, our distributor, will print, pack, and ship your printed book order directly to your home. If you have any questions regarding your order, including returns, you must contact Createspace directly. For more information on ship times and/or contacting customer service click here.
     
  5. Access the Ad-Duha Download Manager to print your download order. All downloads are accessible through the Ad-Duha Online Download Manager. You will receive instructions on how to access your download account and how to print each of your downloads after you have completed your purchase. If you have any questions regarding your download order, please contact us.
     
  6. Start implementing the curriculum as soon as you receive your materials. The  lesson manual will guide you step-by-step through the teaching process each and every day. Grading sheets are also included so that you can evaluate your child’s progress on a regular basis. (Ad-Duha does not offer grading services.)
