Mini Mu’min Course Description The Mini Mu’min Program will introduce your child to both English and Arabic, along with some of the most important daily ad’iyaa (supplications) that a Muslim child should know. This program will also give you the tools you need to prepare your child for entrance into Level ALP of the Ad-Duha Islamic Studies & Arabic Program, insha-Allah. The program consists of the Du’a Series (13 storybooks which teach daily supplications), the Building Blocks Series (8 books which teach colors, numbers, shapes, and the alphabet in both English and Arabic), and a Program Guide (which helps parents design a learning program for their child’s individual needs). All books feature full-color illustrations on every page, no images of humans or animals, detailed references for all ahadith and Qur’aanic quotations used in the text, and much more! Curriculum Overview Your child will learn the following skills on completing this program, insha-Allah:
What’s Included in the Program The following is a complete list of the supplies that you will receive when ordering the program. 1 Parent Guide (8 x 10, glossy cover, paperback, full-color, illustrated, 40 pages, including suggested games and activities)
13 Ad’iyaa Story Books (8 x 10, glossy cover, paperback, full-color, illustrated, 32-70 pages each)
4 English Books (8 x 10, glossy cover, paperback, full-color, illustrated, 32-36 pages each)
4 Arabic Books (8 x 10, glossy cover, paperback, full-color, illustrated, 32-36 pages each)
Important Notes The Mini Mu’min Program is not a daily curriculum like what is used in the regular Ad-Duha Program. The materials included in the Mini Mu’min Program are intended to be both educational and entertaining for very young children. The goal of this program is to introduce young children to some of the basic skill sets and information that they will study in the Level ALP Program, but in a more flexible format that suits children of this age range. For example, the Mini Mu’min materials present the information to be learned through stories, rhymes, games, activities, bright colors, interesting pictures, but without a writing requirement, worksheets, or grading that are used in Levels ALP and above. Children are simply expected to become familiar with the material and concept of ‘school’ so that their entrance into the next level of the program will go smoothly, insha-Allah. |
