The men of Makkah were celebrating because of a great personal loss in Rasulullah’s family. They thought that he (peace be upon him) had been cut off from the blessings of Allah and that they had been favored because of their great wealth and many sons. But in this surah, the shortest in the Qur’aan, Allah cut those men off and informed the world about the amazing blessings He had reserved especially for the Prophet (peace be upon him).
This series is based on the classic Tafseer of Ibn Kathir and the world-renowned Sahih International translation of the Qur'aan. All ahadith quoted in the series come from the Sahih collections of Al-Bukhari and Muslim. Therefore, you can rest assured that you are teaching your child from the most authentic Islamic sources, Insha-Allah.
